Description

In this position you will be responsible for managing the financial operations and aspects of our company, ensuring compliance, and accurately reporting on the financial performance of our company. This position would involve managing and analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within our organization.


This position requires an individual with experience in private or public accounting, experience in payroll processing, strong Leadership, excellent verbal and written communication, exceptionally strong computer skills, and superior analytical capabilities with an aptitude for problem solving.


This position will be responsible for:

  • Preparing complete financial statements monthly according to company guidelines.
  • Develop and manage budgets, monitor expenditures, and create financial forecasts.
  • Develops, reviews, and enhances financial and statistical reports to ensure that the information reported properly reflects the information required by Executives and Directors, and is reported in a timely manner.
  • Perform general accounting functions including journal entries, bank reconciliations, account analyses, year-end audit preparation, and more.
  • Critically review and analyze current systems, processes, and procedures to recommend and implement areas for best practices improvement.
  • Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Ensuring all processes are completed as expected, bills are paid on time, reconciliations are done as expected, and confidentiality is fully upheld with ALL information.
  • Processing our bi-weekly and commission payrolls accurately and timely, resolving any discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintaining compliant policies and procedures when processing payroll.
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality regarding all company and wage information.
  • Maintaining the payroll system, which includes setting up new hires, benefits, deductions, and more.
  • Calculating accurate commissions due for certain positions within our company.
  • Provide a high level of Guest service to internal Guests as well as external auditors and business partners.
  • Communicating positively and effectively with our Team Members, resolving inquiries, and addressing issues.
  • Recommends, designs, and implements any necessary internal controls.
  • Continuously assess and review processes, looking for ways to streamlines accounting operations and improve financial controls.
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring procedures and policies are followed.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely input and documentation.
  • Assist with other accounting projects and tasks as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A good working knowledge of accounting practices.
  • Proficiency in accounting and payroll systems.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

The starting annual salary range for this position is $50,000 - $70,000+ and will be evaluated based upon relevant skills, training, experience, education, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
