Job Summary
Shambaugh & Son L.P. is looking for a Toolroom Associate for our Warehouse. In this position, you will be responsible for handling materials, supplies and equipment, including tools. They will perform duties like ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for items, and may also be responsible for minor repairs and maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Initiating orders for materials and supplies, receiving shipments, and verifying inventory.
  • Organizing and storing items in the warehouse or toolroom and issuing them as needed.
  • Maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, including using computer systems.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, using forklifts, and moving materials around the warehouse.
  • Performing basic repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment.
  • Processing paperwork related to inventory and logistics.
  • Other duties as required

Qualifications
  • Prior experience in a warehouse or toolroom preferred.
  • Must operate and maintain company equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Forklift Certification is a plus.
  • Good communication and organizational skill. Ability to communicate effectively with other employees and customers.
  • Must be able to keep the warehouse or toolroom organized and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required.
