Tool & Die Maker – Metal Stamping Company


Location: AL. | $30/hr to $40/hr Pending Experience + OT + Relocation Assistance (Great Package!)

We're a fast-growing company that makes precision parts for cars. We're looking for experienced Tool & Die Makers to help us build and maintain the tools we need to launch new products.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build and fix metal stamping dies (progressive, transfer, and deep draw)
  • Work with other departments to get dies ready for production
  • Solve problems with dies quickly on the shop floor
  • Handle different types of tooling (Stage/Form, Compound, Progressive)
  • Do regular maintenance and precision work on dies
  • Help improve processes and make things more efficient
  • Team up with engineering and quality to ensure high standards

What You Need:

  • High school diploma + strong hands-on experience
  • 5–7 years working with dies, especially setting up and fixing them
  • Experience with big stamping presses and complex tooling
  • Able to read blueprints and CAD drawings (plus knowledge of GD&T) HUGE PLUS!
  • Journeyman certification or similar experience is a HUGE PLUS!
  • Good understanding of tool steels, coatings, and heat treating
  • Great at problem-solving and teamwork
