Job description

Anesthesiologist needed near Merrillville, Indiana to start ASAP and work on-going.


Trauma Level: Level III

Medical Supervision (1:6; occasionally QZ after hours (i.e. C-sections).

General Surgery: 50-60%

Hours: Mix of 8s, 10s and 12s.

High-Acuity Specialties: Busy heart program with lungs, vascular - special team for open hearts; lungs and vascular optional; Not a ton of Neuro (heads; spine is weekly), but some; no Transplants; very light Trauma – emergent, sick bowels, occasional gunshot wound, etc.

Pediatrics: Some minor ortho only and ENT (tongue tie, ear tubes – avg is 2yrs and above).

Regional Anesthesia Program: CRNAs and MDs do their own Regional. 

$2000 referral bonus received for any referral who works 30 days.

$Competitive Rate weeknight call + Premium if called in, Weekend Call equals 6 Regular Hours Per Day + Premium When Called In.  

$Competitive Hourly pay + housing + travel + A++ rated malpractice insurance with tail coverage included.
