The Role: Senior Development Lead (WebLogic to Spring Boot and Tomcat; PCF)
Location: Austin, TX
The Global Purchasing & Supply Chain IT (GPSC) team of a huge automobile manufacturer has a plan to migrate legacy Java WebLogic applications to Spring Boot applications that will run on the Pivotal Cloud Foundry platform. We are seeking senior development lead to spearhead this effort working with existing GPSC teams to create a playbook for this migration, automated migration tools as necessary to jumpstart the migration, any required manual scripts/steps to fully complete the migration, and a validation tools and datasets to validate the migration has been successful.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
  • Significant experience in migrating Java applications from WebLogic to Spring Boot and Tomcat, and be enabled to run on the PCF platform.
  • Experience with developing automated migration tools and migration validation tools are highly desirable.
