Job description

General Maintenance Technician

Are you a skilled Maintenance Technician who takes pride in doing the job right the first time? We're looking for a reliable, hands-on professional to join our growing residential leasing team.

This is a fast-paced, high-impact role where your work directly improves our residents' experience every day.

What You'll Do

You'll be responsible for maintaining and improving our residential properties, including:

  • Completing general maintenance and repair work orders efficiently
  • Performing drywall repair, patching, and painting (interior & exterior)
  • Handling light carpentry projects and unit turns
  • Installing and troubleshooting appliances
  • Performing basic electrical and plumbing repairs
  • Assisting with HVAC-related maintenance as needed
What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone dependable, skilled, and solution-oriented:

  • 2+ years of hands-on maintenance or construction experience
  • Strong working knowledge of drywall, painting, and general repairs
  • Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and personal tools
  • Cell phone with active service (for communication and work orders)
Preferred (Not Required)
  • HVAC Certification or hands-on HVAC experience
