What are TOGAF remote jobs?

TOGAF remote jobs are positions that require knowledge and application of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) and can be performed from a remote location, rather than on-site. These roles typically involve developing, managing, or optimizing enterprise architecture frameworks for organizations, often as an enterprise architect, solution architect, or IT consultant. Working remotely in these positions requires strong communication skills, proficiency with collaboration tools, and the ability to work independently while ensuring alignment with business goals and IT strategies.

Is TOGAF certification worth it?

For a TOGAF Remote professional, certification can enhance credibility and demonstrate expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, potentially leading to better job opportunities and higher salaries. It also provides a standardized understanding of architecture development methods, which are valuable in remote or distributed work environments. However, the value depends on the employer and industry demand for TOGAF skills.

What are some common challenges faced by TOGAF professionals working remotely, and how can they be addressed?

TOGAF professionals working remotely often face challenges such as maintaining effective communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture goals, and collaborating across distributed teams. To address these, it's important to leverage collaborative tools, establish regular virtual meetings, and document architectural decisions clearly. Staying proactive in communication and building relationships with team members can also help foster a cohesive remote work environment.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a TOGAF Remote Architect, and why are they important?

To thrive as a TOGAF Remote Architect, you need expertise in enterprise architecture frameworks, business process modeling, and a TOGAF certification. Familiarity with architecture modeling tools such as ArchiMate, Sparx Enterprise Architect, or IBM System Architect is typically required. Strong communication, analytical thinking, and collaboration skills are essential for working effectively with distributed teams and stakeholders. These competencies enable you to design aligned IT strategies, ensure stakeholder buy-in, and drive successful enterprise transformation in remote environments.

How can I make 2000 a week working from home?

To earn $2000 weekly working remotely in a role like a TOGAF-certified architect or consultant, you typically need to charge high hourly rates or project fees, often working as a freelancer or contractor. Building specialized skills, obtaining relevant certifications, and gaining experience can help increase earning potential, especially in consulting, architecture, or enterprise architecture roles that leverage TOGAF frameworks.

Can you work online as an architect?

A TOGAF-certified architect can work remotely, as many organizations allow enterprise architecture roles to be performed online using collaboration tools and cloud-based platforms. Successful remote architecture work requires strong communication skills, familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks, and the ability to manage projects virtually.

Is TOGAF still relevant in 2026?

TOGAF remains a relevant framework for enterprise architecture in 2026, providing standardized methods and tools for designing and managing complex IT environments. Organizations continue to adopt TOGAF certifications and tools to improve strategic planning and architecture governance, making it valuable for professionals in enterprise architecture roles. Staying updated with evolving standards and complementary skills like cloud architecture enhances its applicability.

Location: Atlanta, GA* (Hybrid Remote) | Position Type: Full-Time

Are you ready to take on a career-defining opportunity as the first Senior Enterprise Architect in our organization? This is a rare and exciting "first-to-the-team" role where you will not only lead an architecture team (Data Architecture, System Architecture, Application Architecture) but also build the Enterprise Architecture function from the ground up. As a key strategic leader, you’ll design and implement our technology vision, aligning it with business goals to drive innovation, scalability, and efficiency across the enterprise.

This is your chance to make a lasting impact by creating a world-class architecture function that supports a rapidly growing organization. If you’re a trailblazer who thrives in greenfield opportunities, this is the role for you!

What You’ll Do

Establish and Lead the Enterprise Architecture Function

  • Develop the organization’s first-ever Enterprise Architecture framework, strategy, and roadmap.
  • Implement and chair the Architecture Review Board (ARB) to ensure alignment across business and technology.
  • Define and communicate the technology vision and lead strategic discussions with senior executives, portfolio managers, and stakeholders.
  • Build and manage a high-performing architecture team, including System Architects and Data Architects.

Design Scalable, Future-Ready Solutions

  • Lead the creation of a robust architectural runway to support Agile Release Trains (ARTs) and Solution Trains.
  • Partner with Agile Teams, Product Managers, and Solution Architects to define and implement innovative, scalable solutions.
  • Streamline the technology portfolio by identifying opportunities to reduce complexity, redundancy, and total cost of ownership.

Drive Innovation Across the Enterprise

  • Champion emerging technologies, including Cloud, Big Data, AI, and Machine Learning, to future-proof the organization.
  • Establish and promote enterprise-wide architectural standards to ensure consistency, quality, and best practices.
  • Mentor and inspire Agile Teams to adopt Continuous Delivery Pipeline (CDP) and DevOps capabilities.

Lead Enabler Epics and Architecture Initiatives

  • Guide Enabler Epics through the Portfolio Kanban to ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to decompose epics into actionable features and capabilities.
  • Play a key role in SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) events such as PI Planning, System Demos, and design reviews.

Be a Visionary Leader

  • Act as a thought leader and advocate for Lean-Agile practices across the organization.
  • Build and foster a collaborative, innovative culture focused on continuous improvement.
  • Lead a Community of Practice for architecture and mentor the next generation of technical leaders.

What You’ll Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or certifications like TOGAF, SAFe are a plus).
  • Experience: Minimum of 7+ years in enterprise architecture or technology leadership roles, with proven success in creating large-scale architectures.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of Cloud, Big Data, AI, Machine Learning, system integration, IT governance, and application design. Familiarity with platforms like Salesforce, Appian, and Enterprise systems.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to build and lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive organizational change.
  • Framework Knowledge: Experience with SAFe principles and Agile practices.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively bridge technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Visionary Mindset: Ability to think strategically, align technology with business goals, and implement solutions that deliver maximum value.

Why This Role?

This is more than a job; it’s an opportunity to build a legacy. As the first Senior Enterprise Architect in our organization, you will have unparalleled autonomy to shape the future of technology and make a measurable impact. You’ll work alongside forward-thinking leaders in a collaborative, fast-paced environment that values innovation, leadership, and excellence.

If you’re ready to lead, build, and innovate, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now to take the next step in your career as a technology trailblazer!
