Job description

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize our Oracle databases to ensure high performance, availability, and security. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting, with experience in implementing disaster recovery strategies and supporting mission-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Database Administration:
    • Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle database instances.
    • Create and maintain database objects such as tables, indexes, and views.
  • Database Performance Optimization:
    • Monitor database performance, conduct tuning, and ensure efficient SQL execution.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience:
    • 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Database Administration.
    • Experience with Oracle RAC, ASM, Data Guard, and Goldengate is a plus.
    • Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c/18c/19c/21c or higher.
  • Technical Skills:
    • In-depth understanding of Oracle database architecture and data management.
    • Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle database scripting.
    • Proficiency in performance tuning, backup, recovery, and database replication.
