These tools include Series8 Transformer, Framework Manager, Report Studio, Query Studio More than 2 years of experience with TM1 required. Expertise in Cognos BI Tools/Qlikview Experience with TM1 to support existing models/applications Understanding of Cognos security models and integration with SSO Ability to interpret differing data models across domains Proficiency in SQL to understand and interpret data transformation code Understanding and use of best practice coding standards Formal project methodology framework (SDLC) Build management, release management and version control Strong verbal and written communication skills Analytical and problem solving ability Self-motivated Required / Desired Skills 5-7 years of Cognos BI experience. Strong understanding of Data warehouse and business intelligence concepts and best practices processes. Experience with administration, deployment and security setups within Cognos. Strong experience in creating Framework models with different layers. Strong experience with Report development. Experience creating Dashboards in Cognos Analytics. Experience and Proficiency in writing Oracle SQL queries. Experience with Cognos report performance tuning. Good understanding of Java scripts usage in Cognos. This position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of Business Intelligence applications. Essential responsibilities for this position include the following: new metadata model development, new cube development, performance tuning and optimization, implementation of security and reporting content, portal and application administration, application maintenance, technical project lead, security, enhancement design and implementation, upgrades, testing, report development and end-user support.
