How can you make an impact?

The IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Manager will lead the design, development, and maintenance of IBM Planning Analytics solutions. This role combines technical expertise with leadership, ensuring financial planning, forecasting, and reporting systems are efficient, scalable, and aligned with business goals.

 

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States.

What You'll Do:

 

Solution Design & Development

  • Lead architecture, design, and implementation of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) models
  • Develop cubes, dimensions, rules, TurboIntegrator (TI) processes, and feeders
  • Optimize system performance and scalability

Team Leadership  

  • Manage and mentor TM1 developers and analysts
  • Oversee project delivery, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Establish best practices and development standards

Stakeholder Collaboration  

  • Partner with Finance, FP&A, and business teams to gather requirements
  • Translate business needs into technical solutions
  • Provide strategic input on planning and analytics initiatives

System Administration & Support  

  • Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, and security
  • Troubleshoot complex issues and ensure system stability
  • Manage data integrations with Oracle Saas, EDW and other systems

Reporting & Analytics 

  • Manager delivery of dashboards and reports using Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning processes

Audit Support 

  • Provide required documentation requested by internal and external audit teams
  • Manage SOX 404 compliance
  • Request and review SOC 1 documents for owned systems

Who You Are:

  • 8–10+ years of experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) including managing multiple instances of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) on the cloud
  • 4-5 years of managerial experience
  • Strong knowledge of IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) including:
    • System architecture and data modeling
    • TurboIntegrator (TI), rules, and feeders
    • Financial budgeting, planning and forecasting processes
  • Experience leading teams and projects
  • Knowledge of SQL, data warehousing, and ETL tools
  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

The pay range for this position is between $114,000 - $170,000 annually.
