Job description

Job Title: Process Design Engineer Location: Tulsa, OK Work Model: Onsite Hours: Onsite 5 days M-F 8am-5pm

Responsibilities

  • Size and specify equipment such as pumps, blowers, compressors, pressure relief valves, and heat exchangers
  • Develop P&IDโ€™s, data sheets, process flow diagrams, heat and material balances, and control/operation philosophy documents
  • Participate in process hazard analysis
  • Provide field support for equipment
  • Support research and development activities as available in the role
  • Support the flare gas recovery product line by helping design systems that capture flare gases and redirect them into production workflows for reuse as fuel gas

Requirements

  • Preferred Chemical Engineering Degree but open to Mech
  • Mid Level-Sr years of experience
  • Industry experience open to refinery experience
  • Experience with process simulation software such as Aspen HYSYS or Symmetry
  • Experience in the design and operation of refining/petrochemical processing equipment with field process engineering experience preferred
  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in engineering (chemical or mechanical preferred)
  • Minimum 5 yearsโ€™ experience with facility design and operation (field experience preferred)
  • Ability to support approximately 10% of travel
