Beyer Automotive Group is seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Tag & Title Administrator to oversee all aspects of vehicle registration and title processing. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team at a fast-paced and growing dealership group.
Job Summary:
The Tag & Title Administrator is responsible for managing the preparation and processing of all motor vehicle paperwork to ensure timely and accurate title and registration of sold vehicles. This position plays a key role in maintaining legal compliance and supporting the sales and finance departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute daily operations of the tag and title department
Accurately prepare and process DMV paperwork for new and used vehicles
Ensure all documents comply with local, state, and federal regulations
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of DMV rules and procedures
Serve as a point of contact for DMV & lender audits and inquiries
Track and resolve title issues, lien releases, and missing documentation
Coordinate with sales, finance, and service departments to streamline operations
Train and supervise tag/title clerks as needed
Maintain detailed records for all transactions and monitor document filing systems
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a tag/title role, preferably in a dealership setting, is preferred
In-depth knowledge of DMV regulations and vehicle titling procedures
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficient in DMS software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines
