Job description

At Legal Land Title we specialize in title and real estate settlement services, and we’re proud to serve Southwest Missouri. We’ve earned our reputation by working to provide our clients with great service, perform our due diligence, and manage seamless real estate transactions. With offices in Ozark and Springfield, we’re looking for new team members to support our growing company. Ideal candidates enjoy working in fast paced environments, helping others, and supporting their community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research using various internal and external sources
  • Examine public records to determine liabilities and legal condition of title
  • Analyze how liens and encumbrances impact title
  • Generate thorough and accurate search reports on assigned properties
  • Understand and communicate title commitments, legal descriptions, surveys, and other documents impacting property ownership
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Process-driven and detail-oriented
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • High School Diploma required
  • Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Previous experience in title research preferred

Job Type: Full Time, 40 hours per week

Starting Pay: $40,000 - $45,000
