Title Associate information

What is a title associate?

Title Associates are professionals who assist in researching and verifying property titles to ensure they are clear of any legal issues before real estate transactions. They review public records, prepare reports, and work closely with title companies, attorneys, and real estate agents to resolve discrepancies or claims. Title Associates play a crucial role in the closing process by ensuring that property ownership can be legally transferred without complications.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a title associate?

To thrive as a Title Associate, you need a solid understanding of real estate transactions, title research, and document review, typically supported by a high school diploma or associate degree in a related field. Familiarity with title production software, public records databases, and document management systems is commonly required. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and effective communication are essential soft skills for this role. These competencies ensure accuracy, mitigate risk, and provide smooth support throughout real estate closing processes.

What are some common challenges title associates face when managing multiple property transactions simultaneously?

Title Associates often juggle numerous property transactions at once, which can present challenges such as keeping track of important documentation, meeting tight closing deadlines, and coordinating with various parties like realtors, lenders, and attorneys. Staying organized and maintaining clear communication is essential to prevent errors or delays. Utilizing specialized title management software and developing strong time-management skills can help Title Associates effectively handle these demands and ensure smooth transaction processing.

Job description

Description
Job Title: Associate Manager
Who we are:
As one of the largest for-profit thrift operators in the United States, Canada and Australia for value priced pre-owned clothing, accessories and household goods, our mission is to champion reuse and inspire a future where secondhand is second nature. We supply our stores with gently-used, one-of-a-kind items that have been donated by the community to local nonprofit organizations. We purchase these items directly from our nonprofit partners, redirecting billions of pounds of used items away from landfills and on to our store racks and shelves for reuse, and providing our partners with valuable funding for their community-based programs and services. You'll often hear us say that we are "Thrift Proud." It's the millions of loyal customers who visit our 300+ stores and our more than 22,000 team members that make it possible. Learn more about the Savers® family of thrift stores, our impact, and the #ThriftProud movement at savers.com.
Our brands are Savers (in the U.S.), 2nd Ave (in the U.S.), Value Village (in the U.S. and Canada), Unique (in the U.S.), Village des Valeurs (in Quebec) and Savers Australia.
