  • The creation of the antifungal medication nystatin.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and enhance research projects within the Irving Skin Cancer Center.
  • Establish and sustain an independent research program that is externally funded, focusing on basic, translational, or clinical dermatology pertinent to skin cancer.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across CUIMC and Columbia University to promote program project grants and interdisciplinary research in skin cancer and associated domains.
  • Guide and mentor trainees and junior faculty members.
  • Participate in teaching and service activities within the department and the university.
Qualifications
  • M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
  • Proven track record of excellence in research and scholarship related to skin cancer and similar fields.
  • Dedication to advancing dermatologic science and enhancing patient outcomes.
  • Eligibility for appointment at the Associate Professor level within CUIMC.
