Responsibilities
  • Receive & sort tires as they arrive at the facility.
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and Inventory changes.
  • Help maintain an accurate inventory and count inventory when required.
  • Operate forklift to Osha standards and procedures.
  • Identify and sort by tire specification.
  • Identify tire defects by Manufacturer and submit for warranty.
  • Mount and dismount tires without damaging tires.
  • Identify and replace any tires with damaged beads while mounting tires.
  • Balance and perform runout check on all Wide Base tires to Prime Specs.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Schedule available - Sunday-Wednesday, 5am-5pm. 
Qualifications

Any combination of education, training, and experience providing the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Knowledge

Prior tire experience is a plus.

Abilities

Must have a strong work history. Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights and weekends required.

Experience, Education, and Training

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

This position requires constant standing, handling, and forward reaching; frequent walking, head turning, bending, kneeling, stooping, squatting, hand control and power gripping. Candidate must be able to lift 105lbs, carry 60lbs and push and pull 130lbs.  Steel toed footwear, and safety glasses are required in the shop.

Working Environment

Both indoor and outdoor working environment with exposure to varying weather conditions and chemical odors.

Licensing/Certification

Candidate must be able to pass a job specific post-offer physical prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc.

Miscellaneous Requirements

Candidate must be able to pass a physical through APEX Physical Therapy prior to beginning employment with Prime, Inc. if in Springfield, Mo. Must be able to pass a general physical examination in all other locations.
