Job description

Position: Shop Manager

Location: Helena Commercial Center

Compensation: $30-40/hour, DOE

Position Overview:

Kolar Tire & Auto is looking for a proactive, customer-focused Tire Shop Manager to lead our team and oversee all daily operations of the tire shop. This role includes managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, and driving business growth. The Tire Shop Manager plays a key role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise, train, and motivate the shop team, including technicians, service writers, and support staff.
- Oversee daily operations, including workflow, scheduling, and customer service.
- Ensure all work meets quality and safety standards.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking tires and supplies.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.
- Develop and implement shop policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance and assist with budgeting and cost controls.
- Collaborate with the General Manager or Owner to set and achieve sales goals.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and environmental guidelines.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical school or college degree preferred.
-Minimum 3?5 years of experience in tire or automotive service, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
-Solid understanding of tire service, repair processes, and shop equipment.
-Excellent customer service and communication skills.
-Basic computer skills for managing inventory and service records.
-Valid driver?s license with a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

-Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs

-Standing, bending, and moving for extended periods of time

-Ability to work in varying weather conditions

Compensation & Benefits:
