Expected pay $22-$27, based on relevant experience!
We are seeking motivated, customer-focused Mobile Tire Technicians who want to help Tire Rack change the way tires are purchased and installed. A technician's typical day is spent in one of our custom-equipped, mobile installation vans interacting one-on-one with customers who are excited to experience our convenient service. Each customer has a pre-scheduled appointment for tire services at their place of residence or work. Their tires are pre-purchased and with your van, ready for service.
Your exceptional customer service ensures our customers can spend more of their time doing the things they enjoy. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
  • Perform basic tire services (e.g. mounting and balancing tires, installations and repairs)
  • Load and drive the mobile installation van safely and professionally to and from all scheduled appointments and conduct proper safety checks when installing tires
  • Greet customers at their place of residence or work, explaining the process, answering questions, and ensuring an outstanding experience overall
  • Ensure customer satisfaction, each and every time
  • Follow ASAP Tire policies and procedures on every installation
  • Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting (up to 80 pounds), standing, bending, and squatting

Job Requirements:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must have a current and valid driver's license
  • No more than 2 moving violations and/or 1 accident on driving record in the past 5 years
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions (e.g. DUI/DWI) on driving record in the past 5 years
  • Must be able to attend a one- week training class in South Bend, Indiana
  • TIA Certification (or willing to obtain)
  • Prior experience in tire service is preferred but willing to train onsite
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.
