As a full-time Retread Technician, your mission is to assist in the production of the industry’s highest-quality retreads by performing specific retreading job assignments per company specifications, standards, and time frames.

What You Need:

• Ability to pass a background & drug screen

• Ability to work both independently and as a team

• Ability to lift, push, and/or pull heavy objects


What You'll Train For:

• Inspect tires to be retreaded or repaired

• Work plant station to repair and/or retread tires per specification

• Safely operate equipment to buff, skive, repair, envelope, and cure tires

• Safely trim, paint, and tag finished tires

• Make final tire repair inspection and place with finished stock

• Ensure work order completion: proper work, and identification

• Maintain equipment in good operating condition

• Maintain a clean working environment

• Follow all OSHA and company safety protocols

• Protect company assets (inventory, receivables, equip & real estate)

• Other essential and non-essential duties, as assigned by management

DRUG TESTING

Purcell Tire tests for the presence of THC in all drug screenings for this position, due to the safety-sensitive nature of the job and the potential for injury or death when a tire is installed improperly, or a safety-related mechanical issue is not properly conveyed to a customer. It is a bona fide occupational qualification for service technicians to be unimpaired, so the Company will continue testing for THC and other drugs under the safety-sensitive exceptions allowed by your state.
