Job description


Summary
The Tooling & Maintenance Coordinator provides essential support to the maintenance department, with an emphasis on maintenance and production tooling and supplies. Critical duties include spare parts management, initiating purchase requisitions, and inspecting tooling.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Receive, organize, and store maintenance supplies and parts delivered from the Receiving department; enter parts into the Maintenance Connection software as required.
Prepare and submit purchase requisitions for maintenance parts and supplies.
Maintain and update the Maintenance Email Request spreadsheet.
Inspect and clean draw dies and extrusion tooling.
Communicate tooling issues, requirements, and improvement needs to Process Engineering.
Operate the Fluidized Bath Tool Cleaning System in accordance with established procedures.
Operate and perform routine maintenance on extrusion ink-jet printing systems.
Coordinate and document the braider rebuild program.
Collaborate with production supervisors and maintenance mechanics to order, track, and store braider parts as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to use precision measuring devices, including but not limited to micrometers, dial calipers, pin gauges and tape measures.
Proficiency with standard computer software, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Previous experience with Maintenance Connection software preferred.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment a plus.
Must be 18 years or older.
