Job description

Times Microwave Systems is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to provide HR support in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be an experienced HR professional who promotes the core values of Times Microwave Systems while building strong, productive relationships with team members at all levels of the organization.

As a key member of the Times Microwave Systems Human Resources team, the Human Resources Generalist will support a broad range of HR initiatives, including recruiting, team member development, performance management, benefits administration, compliance, and workers' compensation. This role will serve as a trusted resource to team members and leaders while contributing to a positive and engaging workplace culture.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Recruits, screens, and onboards qualified candidates and new hires to support organizational staffing needs.
  • Provides coaching and guidance to managers and supervisors on team member relations, performance management, and HR best practices.
  • Collaborates with the North America Human Resources team to develop, update, and implement HR policies, procedures, and initiatives.
  • Facilitates the annual performance review process, including scheduling, communications, and merit planning for the Mesa facility.
  • Plans and coordinates company events and employee engagement activities at the Mesa facility.
  • Maintains the HRIS database, ensuring accurate team member information and providing reports as needed.
  • Supports payroll and timekeeping processes for the Mesa facility.
  • Administers the employee discipline process and attendance program for the Mesa facility.
  • Coordinates benefits enrollment activities and provides day-to-day benefits administration support.
  • Administers workers' compensation and FMLA programs, ensuring compliance with applicable requirements.
  • Supports training and development initiatives and completes special projects related to human resources as assigned.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of three years of experience in a Human Resources role.
  • Experience supporting HR functions in a manufacturing environment strongly preferred.
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with team members at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and strong computer skills.
  • Experience with an HRIS system; Dayforce experience preferred.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive information.
