Description
TPi Arcade, LLC is an aluminum foundry and we are seeking a Project Engineer responsible for the technical and engineering aspects of projects, from start to finish.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES
  • Plan, schedule, and manage the technical tasks to ensure quality, accuracy, and the proper resources.
  • Establish project criteria, coordinate review, and ensure the project elements are implemented correctly.
  • Communicate with TPI customers and project managers with technical expertise regarding our products.
  • Performs other related responsibilities as deemed necessary by the Engineering Manager.
  • Occasional travel required with the ability to conduct technical presentations.

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT
Physical Demands
This position requires extended periods of working in the foundry. Sitting and viewing computer monitor, as well as lifting pushing and pulling of material, as necessary.
Working Conditions
The employee will be exposed to an environment where hearing, eye safety and safety shoes are required.
Requirements
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Associate's degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to multitask and demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with others.
  • Ability to accomplish tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Motivated by success.
  • Familiar with ISO9000 or AS9100
  • Knowledge of GDT and SolidWorks/Inventor
  • Break projects down into smaller tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Time management skills
  • Proficient with MS: Excel, Word, and Access

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or technology.
  • 2-5 years' experience, but not required.
  • This is a long-term employment opportunity with room for growth.
  • Familiarity with aluminum castings concepts, practices and procedures.
