Job description

Buffalo Biodiesel Inc. is in growth mode and currently seeking a Project Engineer to join our team!

Buffalo Biodiesel is seeking an experience Project Engineer to assist at our corporate office in a wide range of duties and tasks. The ideal candidate will have 5 years working as a Project Engineer and must have the ability to work independently with little or no supervision. This person must be exceedingly well organized, flexible, and have the ability to do some travel for work assignments. This person will work directly with the company's owner to build on existing and structure new company projects and initiatives.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related engineering field required. MBA a plus.
  • 5+ years of engineering experience.
  • Highly knowledgeable on OSHA and DEC regulations and standards.
  • Prior experience with PNG.
  • Prior experience working with regulatory code and agencies.
  • Proven experience coordinating and interfacing with customers and/or suppliers on complex projects or issues.
  • Experience in computer applications for engineering design programs.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be highly organized and have the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong time management and analytical skills

Responsibilities:

  • Leading complex projects within a growing engineering department that align with company goals and standards.
  • Developing overall project scope based on operational requirements.
  • Managing capital project planning and execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of high-impact initiatives supporting business growth.
  • Oversight of projects and personnel in regards to engineering initiatives.
