This position requires someone who can drive store sales and build a quality experience for our customers. The Store Manager is responsible for managing the entire store operation including staffing, development of personnel and ability to exceed customer expectations daily. Great communication skills, people skills and product knowledge along with strong organizational and professional skills are required. JOB SUMMARY:

The Manager position is responsible for achieving company objectives in profit and loss control, sales performance, customer satisfaction, the appearance, arrangement, and utilization of the location and all merchandise and equipment contained therein. This position will directly manage the team of associates in the day to day operations and scheduling. Assists customers, selling, supplying information, maintains records and reports. This position reports to the Division Manager.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Assist customers, call on prospective customers.
  • Responsible for rendering prompt service to all customers.
  • Supervise overall operation and employees.
  • Handling customer complaints and providing prompt solutions.
  • Understand basic computer program and learn internal working systems.
  • Answering telephone and returning phone calls in a prompt manner.
  • Keep sales area stocked with merchandise including pricing, dating, and displaying.
  • Responsible for appearance and cleanliness of the location.
  • Assist Credit Manager in complying with policies regarding credit.
  • Assist in warehouse and showroom or other areas which may include stocking, loading, and unloading merchandise and keeping area neat, clean, and orderly.
  • Check incoming merchandise against invoices or orders to spot shortages, damages, backorders and advise store manager.
  • Ability to lift to 50lbs, also requires climbing, stooping, and bending frequently.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Five plus years of sales experience.
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
  • Strong accounting skills and ability to use Merchant Ag, Epicor, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication, organizational and follow-up skills.
  • Proven ability to interact well with others and offer great customer service.
