Location: Portland & McMinnville, Oregon (Hybrid / Regional Travel Required)

Summary

We are a purpose-driven timber frame company specializing in the design and construction of exceptional custom homes, structures, and select commercial projects. Our work celebrates craft, natural materials, and thoughtful design.


As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dynamic professional who can help expand our reach, strengthen client relationships, and elevate our brand.


Position Overview

This position is both strategic and relationship-driven, responsible for generating new opportunities, nurturing clients and their projects.


The ideal candidate is comfortable building relationships with architects, designers, builders, and homeowners and comes from the wood industry with at least some capacity for digital design.


This position will divide time between our Portland and McMinnville operations while engaging with clients and industry partners throughout Oregon and the broader Pacific Northwest.


Key Responsibilities

  • Sales
  • Lead prospective clients through the sales process from initial inquiry through project contract.
  • Understand client goals, budgets, and project vision to develop tailored solutions.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and project estimates in collaboration with design and construction teams.
  • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline through a CRM system.
  • Represent the company at project meetings, consultations, and site visits.


  • Business Development
  • Develop and strengthen relationships with architects, custom home builders, developers, designers, and industry influencers.
  • Identify strategic opportunities in residential and commercial markets.
  • Expand referral networks and cultivate long-term partnerships.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions.
  • Monitor market trends, emerging opportunities, and competitive activity.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute growth strategies.
  • Help shape and communicate the companyโ€™s brand story and market position.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • 5+ years of experience in sales or a related role.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proven ability to develop and close business opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and project management abilities.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and long sales cycles.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and digital marketing platforms.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Oregon and surrounding markets.

  • Experience in custom residential construction, timber construction, architecture, design, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of sustainable building practices and environmentally responsible construction.
