If you're an enthusiastic and safety-minded Maintenance Technician who enjoys taking great care of residents and the community, we would love for you to apply for our position at High Pointe Apartments in Birmingham, AL.
A day in the life of our Maintenance Technician might include diagnosing and maintaining/fixing any of the following (in addition to helping with moving appliances and keeping the property clean):
Electrical and plumbing (including water lines). A/C and heating systems. Appliances (when applicable). Water irrigation systems. Stairs, gates, fences, patios, and railings. Tile, carpet, flooring. Interior/exterior lights. Fireplaces, ceiling fans. Gas fixtures and appliances (where applicable). Shutters, doors, cabinets, windows, sliding glass doors. Boiler, gas, and/or electric. Door locks, P.O. boxes, and locks. Security systems (where applicable). Ceiling leaks. Pool areas, tile, pool furniture.
Must have a Truck or Reliable transportation. Must Be able to take rotation weekend calls/and take on-call emergencies. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide proof of auto insurance coverage.
HVAC, EPA, CPO certification and/or experience preferred.
