Position Description
Position Summary:
Martin K. Eby Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an experienced Rebar Setter to join our team. As a Rebar Setter at Eby Construction, you will support structural concrete operations by placing and securing reinforcing steel according to project specifications and safety standards. You will work closely with Superintendents, Foremen, and crew members to install reinforcing materials accurately and efficiently.
Position Requirements
Essential Functions:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and rebar schedules
  • Measure, cut, bend, and tie reinforcing steel per project specifications
  • Install rebar, mesh, and reinforcing materials in footings, walls, slabs, and columns
  • Maintain proper spacing, alignment, and elevation of reinforcing steel
  • Prepare forms with concrete crews prior to pours
  • Follow all Eby Construction safety policies and OSHA regulations
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean jobsite

Requirements:
  • Lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work
  • Bend, kneel, climb, and stand for extended periods
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Safely use hand and power tools
  • Maintain reliable attendance and communicate effectively with crew members
