What Gallegos is Looking For... 

A Tile Setter cuts, tools, and sets tile/slab in floors and walls of buildings and repairs and polishes tiles/slab previously set in buildings. 

Duties & Responsibilities...

  • Trims, faces, and cuts tile/slab to specified size and shape. (25%)
  • Cut, surface, polish and installs tile and granite or install pre-cast terrazzo, granite, or tile units. (20%)
  • Mix, apply and spread mortar to tile back, position the tile/slab and press or tap with trowel handle to affix tile to base. (20%)
  • Polishes tile and other ornamental stone to high luster. (15%)
  • Participates in daily huddles and practices safety as a priority on all job sites. (10%)
  • Models The Gallegos Corporation mission and values at all times. (10%)
  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities. 
  • 3-5 years of concrete or construction or Marble & Granite experience. 
  • Attention to detail with demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness.
