Our client, a respected commercial general contractor, is seeking an experienced Interior Superintendent to oversee interior construction, finish sequencing, and production activities on a multifamily and mixed-use development in South Florida.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a construction professional who excels at coordinating interior trades, maintaining production schedules, and delivering exceptional quality throughout the interior build-out process.Position Overview
The Interior Superintendent will lead interior construction from framing release through final punch and turnover. This individual will coordinate multiple interior work areas while ensuring subcontractors remain aligned with schedule, quality, and production goals.
Working closely with Project Management, MEP leadership, Quality Control, and field teams, the Interior Superintendent will play a key role in maintaining efficient trade flow while delivering high-quality interior spaces.Key Responsibilities
  • Lead interior construction activities from framing release through drywall, ceilings, flooring, tile, painting, millwork, cabinetry, fixtures, specialties, and final punch.
  • Coordinate construction activities across residential units, corridors, amenity spaces, lobbies, and common areas.
  • Manage benchmark units, mock-ups, first-work inspections, and interior quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules for interior trades while ensuring proper sequencing and workflow.
  • Coordinate closely with MEP teams to align above-ceiling work, trim-out activities, inspections, and finish milestones.
  • Track interior progress using detailed production schedules, punch logs, and trade accountability reports.
  • Conduct routine jobsite inspections to verify workmanship, cleanliness, and schedule compliance.
  • Lead subcontractor coordination meetings and proactively resolve field issues that impact production.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation and communicate progress to Project Management and leadership.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Interior Superintendent, Finish Superintendent, Superintendent, or Field Superintendent managing interior construction on commercial or multifamily projects.
  • Proven experience managing finish sequencing, interior production, subcontractor coordination, and project scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of interior construction methods, trade sequencing, and quality control.
  • Experience with multifamily, condominium, hospitality, mixed-use, or student housing projects preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to coordinate multiple trades while maintaining production schedules and quality expectations.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or similar construction management software is preferred.
  • Florida vertical construction experience is strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
