Job Summary:
The Floorman is a key team member in the brick manufacturing process, responsible formaintainingthe efficient operation of production areas. This role involves performing manual and mechanical tasks to ensure the smooth flow of materials, equipment, and processes while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Material Handling:
  • Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and other supplies manually or usingappropriate equipment(e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
  • Monitor and manage the flow of materials to ensure consistent production.
  1. Production Support:
  • Assistin setting up and operating machinery used in brick production.
  • Monitor machines during operations toidentifymalfunctions or irregularities and report them to supervisors.
  • Perform routine inspections andmaintenance onequipment to prevent downtime.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products for defects or inconsistencies.
  • Remove and discard defective products or materials as percompanystandards.
  1. Housekeeping and Safety:
  • Keep the production area clean and free of debris tomaintaina safe working environment.
  • Follow all company safety protocols andparticipatein safety training sessions.
  • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.

Schedule

  • Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM
  • Night Shift: Monday-Thursday, 4:00 PM - 3:00 AM
    (Occasionally maybe requiredto work Fridays)
  • May berequiredto work weekends or holidays based on production needs
  • Overtime may berequiredbased on production demands

Safety Requirements

  • Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Mustcomplete and pass all required safety training
  • Must wear required PPE while performing job duties
  • Mustimmediatelyreport unsafe conditions, incidents, or injuries
  • Participatein safety meetings
