TalentSphere is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established tile retailer in the GTA for an Experienced Tile Salesperson. This is an immediate opportunity for a knowledgeable sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and has a strong background in wall and floor tiles.

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Tile Salesperson with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in the tile industry. The ideal candidate will have solid product knowledge of wall and floor tiles, familiarity with Schluter systems, and established contacts plus experience dealing with distributors. You will play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving sales, and helping clients select the right products for their residential and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert product advice and recommendations on wall tiles, floor tiles, and related installation systems (including Schluter products)
  • Build strong relationships with customers through consultative selling
  • Achieve or exceed individual sales targets
  • Maintain accurate knowledge of inventory, pricing, and current promotions
  • Assist with merchandising, showroom presentation, and stock management as needed
  • Collaborate with the store team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
  • Leverage industry contacts and work effectively with distributors to support product availability and customer needs

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of sales experience in wall and/or floor tiles (retail or showroom environment preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Schluter products and systems is highly desirable
