Job description

West Coast Commercial Roofing is seeking an experienced

Commercial Tile Roofing Foreman to lead roofing operations on a

new construction multifamily/apartment project in Tucson,

Arizona.

We are looking for a hands-on foreman with strong tile roofing

experience who can effectively manage crews, maintain production,

enforce safety and quality standards, and keep work moving

according to the project schedule.

This position is ideal for an experienced roofing professional who

understands new construction tile roofing and knows how to lead

a crew in a fast-paced commercial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead roofing crews on a large new construction

apartment project

  • Oversee dry-in, tile loading/distribution, layout, and tile

installation

  • Plan daily manpower and production activities

  • Establish and maintain daily and weekly production goals

  • Monitor workmanship and ensure installations meet company

standards, plans, specifications, and manufacturer

requirements

  • Coordinate material deliveries, staging, and rooftop material

needs

  • Read and understand roofing plans, details, and project

specifications

  • Identify field conditions or installation issues and communicate

them to project management

  • Coordinate with the Superintendent and Project Manager

regarding schedule, manpower, materials, and job progress

  • Maintain an organized and productive jobsite

  • Conduct and enforce jobsite safety procedures

  • Ensure crews follow OSHA requirements and company safety

policies

  • Track daily progress and communicate production status to

management

  • Maintain accountability for quality, safety, and production

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of roofing foreman or equivalent crew leadership

experience preferred

  • Strong experience with concrete/clay tile roofing systems

  • Commercial, multifamily, apartment, or large-scale new

construction roofing experience strongly preferred

  • Strong knowledge of roofing dry-in and tile installation

  • Ability to read roofing plans, details, and specifications

  • Ability to manage multiple crews and maintain production

schedules

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Ability to identify installation and quality-control issues in the

field

  • Safety-focused and production-driven

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to work outdoors in Arizona conditions

  • Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
