About Williams Tile and Marble Company

Williams Tile and Marble Company is a tile, terrazzo, and stone installation company serving the commercial and residential construction markets. We are looking for an experienced Tile Project Manager / Estimator to join our team and help manage projects from the initial estimate and bid through completion.

The ideal candidate understands tile and stone construction, can accurately estimate labor and materials, communicate effectively with general contractors and customers, and keep projects organized, profitable, and on schedule. Must be able to confidently move between the office and jobsite- reviewing plans, preparing accurate estimates, coordinating with contractors and crews, monitoring project, and resolving issues as they arise.


Key Responsibilities

Estimating & Preconstruction

  • Review plans, specifications, and finish schedules.
  • Perform material and labor takeoffs and prepare project estimates and bids.
  • Obtain material pricing and identify scope gaps, exclusions, and project risks.
  • Develop project budgets and maintain accurate estimating records.
  • Communicate with GCs and customers throughout the bidding process.

Project Management

  • Manage tile and stone projects from contract award through completion.
  • Coordinate with GCs, suppliers, crews, and other project partners.
  • Schedule materials, manpower, and installation activities.
  • Monitor jobsite progress, quality, safety, schedule, and costs.
  • Manage change orders, additional work, and project documentation.
  • Address field conditions and resolve issues to keep projects on track.
  • Assist with punch lists, closeout, and final billing.

Customer & Contractor Relations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with GCs, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Attend project meetings and communicate schedules, pricing, and changes.
  • Represent Williams Tile and Marble Company professionally on all jobsites.
  • Work collaboratively to resolve project and installation issues.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Previous experience in tile, stone, flooring, or related commercial construction.
  • Experience with construction estimating and/or project management softwares.
  • Ability to read and understand architectural plans and construction documents.
  • Strong understanding of tile installation methods, materials, and industry practices.
  • Strong math and organizational skills.
  • Ability to perform material and labor takeoffs accurately.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Willingness to travel locally to commercial jobsites throughout the Atlanta metro area.


Preferred:

  • 3+ years of commercial tile estimating or project management experience.
  • Experience working with general contractors and commercial construction projects.
  • Experience with construction estimating/project management software.
  • Experience with change orders, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and project closeout.
  • Knowledge of TCNA standards and tile industry best practices.
  • Experience with Division 09 / finishes-related construction.
  • Established relationships with commercial general contractors and/or suppliers.


Compensation

$70,000–$100,000+ starting salary, depending on qualifications, experience, estimating ability, industry knowledge, and project management experience.

Additional compensation and benefits may be available based on company policy and experience.
