Tile Associate information

What is a tile associate?

Tile Associates are professionals who assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of tile surfaces, such as floors, walls, and backsplashes. They typically work under the supervision of experienced tile setters, helping with tasks like preparing surfaces, mixing adhesives, cutting tiles, and ensuring proper alignment. Tile Associates play a crucial role in ensuring quality workmanship and a smooth installation process on residential or commercial projects.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a tile associate?

To thrive as a Tile Associate, you need a strong understanding of tile types, installation techniques, and basic math skills, often supported by a high school diploma or equivalent.
