We're looking for an outstanding individual to join our team and contribute to the company's legacy of excellent service and safety as a full-time Transport Driver. The Weekend Warrior works Friday thru Monday, from 2pm to 2am (shifts are subject to availability). Weekend Warriors are also eligable for a weekend shift differential based on attendance and have the ability to pick up an extra shift for overtime! You'll be home every day - no over the road! We take pride in our transport drivers and believe they play an integral role in our success.
Your primary responsibility will be driving a transport truck to gas stations and other commercial locations, loading and unloading bulk fuels, completing assigned paperwork and maintaining the safety of your vehicles. The transport driver will monitor all loading and unloading equipment, such as pumps, valves and hoses, to ensure safety for themselves and their customers.
Requirements
  • Possess a CDL A license, with proper haz-mat and tanker endorsements and medical card
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience driving large truck
  • Physically capable of using equipment to load and unload transport trucks, including pulling hoses and climbing onto the top of the tanker
  • Physically capable to participate in heavy lifting, bending, squatting, climbing, carrying hoses/nozzles weighing 50 lbs
  • Experience driving in snow, ice, other weather conditions, and maneuvering in tight quarters
  • Acceptable driving record with no major convictions
  • Able to communicate effectively verbally and in written correspondence with dispatchers, logistics, and customers.
  • High school level math competence to verify quantities and volumes.
  • Must be able to read and understand road signs, instructions, routes and other paperwork
  • Demonstrate a great attitude dealing with customers, coworkers, and other drivers including patience during load/wait times/traffic
  • Pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen

Working Conditions:
  • Primarily outside work, driving large fuel vehicle
  • Able to drive for long periods of time
  • Physically challenging position with climbing on/off truck and fueling
  • Exposure to dust, fumes and high noise levels. Required to drive occasionally in hazardous conditions, including weather, tight quarters, and blighted areas
  • May be required to work alternative shift, long hours, or on weekends and work additional assigned loads in compliance with DOT regulations
