Tige operates from a 135,000 square foot state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and world headquarters in Abilene, Texas.

Production Positions
RESPONSIBILITIES
These are full-time production positions. Pay starts at $15 per hour for assembly work and $16.00 per hour for lamination work. Potential to make up to $18 per hour at the end of your first year.
Day shift: Monday - Friday. Start-time 5:55 AM -3PM
Various production positions are available. Employees are expected to work with some degree of independence and motivation. This individual will be using various hand tools. Will train the right candidates.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (not limited to):
  • Perform housekeeping on a daily basis to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Use of some power tools such as drills, grinders, buffers, and sanders.
  • Read measuring devices such as tape measures.
  • Basic knowledge of operating power tools.
  • Responsible for the quality of the work you do.
  • Work quickly under pressure and be able to work overtime.
  • Work in a noisy environment.
  • Responsible for working safely.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school education or equivalent (preferred)
Manufacturing experience of 1 year (preferred, but will train)
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • (PPE) requirements could include dust masks, gloves, and chemical resistant suits
  • Ability to work an 8 -10 hour shift standing, bending, reaching.
  • Moderate lifting ability up to 40 lbs.
  • The facility is not climate controlled, must be able to work in seasonal environments.
  • Work is often completed in a loud dusty environment.
  • Capable of getting in and out of boats.
  • Must be able to use hands and wrists frequently.
  • This is an on site full time position, Job location is Tigé Boats headquarters, 1801 Highway 36, Abilene TX 79602.
