Position Description: Summary:
We are seeking qualified welders who can weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel -- MiG, and TIG, to join our innovative, fast-growing company. The candidates are required to be able to read drawings, know how to red-line drawings, and fit properly. They will be working in a friendly team environment in which they are expected to communicate clearly.
We provide internal advanced manufacturing training for our state-of-the-art technology and equipment. If you fit this description and you are enthusiastic about our company and its products, lets meet.
Responsibilities:
Weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel -- MiG, TIG, Stick, Flux-Cord
Read and red-line drawings
Fit
Skilled in reading engineering drawings
Skilled in maintaining weld equipment and welding area organized and very clean.
Skilled in measurements and understanding metric vs. British
Skilled in and practiced teamwork and team productivity
Understanding quality requirements
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of TIG/MIG welding experience
Strong skills in welding aluminum and stainless steel
Ability to pass a welding test
Dependable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:
The physical ability to lift and carry at least 50-100 lb. net bags, boxes and/or pallets for short distances
The physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to pass all Drug & Alcohol Screening
Limited exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals daily. May require safety equipment and/or precautions.Compensation ranges from $20 to $28 an hour. This range is based on welder qualification level 1, 2, or 3.
