Position OverviewWe are seeking aย TIG Welderย with hands-on experience and an eye for precision. This position plays a crucial role in fabricating and assembling high-quality metal components. Youโll be working with a range of materials including aluminum, stainless steel, and carbon steel, performing welds that meet strict quality and safety standards.
Key ResponsibilitiesPrecision Welding:ย Perform high-quality TIG welds and occasionally MIG/Stick welding based on project needs.
Blueprint Interpretation:ย Read and apply technical drawings and welding symbols to execute jobs accurately.
Material Handling:ย Work with aluminum, stainless steel, and steel; prepare and position materials for welding.
Quality Assurance:ย Inspect and test welds to ensure strength, alignment, and quality compliance.
Tool Operation:ย Use fabrication tools including grinders, cutters, drills, and weld gauges to support the welding process.
Maintenance:ย Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and report malfunctions.
Safety:ย Follow OSHA safety procedures and use proper PPE at all times.
Collaboration:ย Work closely with machinists, engineers, and inspectors to ensure projects meet deadlines and quality expectations.
Customization:ย Modify and repair metal parts, structures, and components as necessary.
Documentation:ย Track work completed and material usage for reporting and traceability.
RequirementsMinimumย 2 years of TIG weldingย experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment.
Skilled in weldingย stainless steel, aluminum, and steel.
Strong ability to read and interpretย blueprints and welding symbols.
Proficient in usingย grinders, cutters, calipers, micrometers, and similar tools.
Excellentย attention to detail, craftsmanship, and work ethic.
Understanding ofย industry safety standardsย and welding procedures.
Preferred QualificationsAWS Welding Certifications (TIG/MIG).
Experience working withย exotic metals or high-pressure systems.
Background inย automated welding or CNC equipment.
