Key Qualifications:
- Hold a valid Minnesota Tier 3 or Tier 4 Teaching Certification in Special Education (required; must be provided with resume)
- Prior experience working with Emotional Behavior Disorder (EBD) students, preferably in a center-based setting
- Strong instructional skills in adapting curricula to meet individualized needs
- Exceptional communication abilities with parents, staff, and support teams
- Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning community
- Knowledge or interest in elementary mathematics, science, and engineering concepts is advantageous
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve full-time onsite in a dedicated EBD classroom, focusing on tailored instruction and behavioral support
- Design, implement, and adjust Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in accordance with students’ unique requirements
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver a holistic educational experience
- Utilize program-specific resources that integrate engineering, science, and technology into daily teaching
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, attendance, and behavioral interventions
- Engage students in creative, hands-on activities while reinforcing positive classroom management
