This role is fully remote, providing flexibility and accommodating the needs of our staff while focusing on effective service delivery. • Serve as a clinician for students experiencing symptoms of major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders through individual counseling, group therapy, and family sessions.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans, ensuring that students receive coordinated services and resources tailored to their unique needs.
• Conduct brief, evidence-based assessments to identify student needs and facilitate appropriate interventions or referrals when necessary.
• Participate actively in clinical team meetings, contributing to discussions on case management, treatment planning, and outcomes assessment.
• Advocate for students' mental health needs within school settings, working collaboratively with educators and administrators to create a supportive learning environment.
• Monitor ongoing client progress, revising treatment plans as required, and ensuring that care is aligned with their goals.
• Provide crisis intervention support when needed, utilizing appropriate techniques to manage acute situations effectively and empathetically.
• Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatments, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in community outreach initiatives aimed at bringing awareness to mental health issues and increasing accessibility to care for families in need.
• Stay updated with best practices in social work and mental health treatment methodologies through continuing education and participation in professional development opportunities.

This position focuses on children and adolescents in school settings who may be facing various challenges, including emotional disturbances, behavioral issues, and mental health disorders. You'll work collaboratively with educational staff, parents, and other health professionals to support the academic and social success of each student.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is mandatory.
• Possess a valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience is preferred, particularly in school or community settings.
• Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written, to convey complex information effectively.
• Experience with diverse populations, demonstrating cultural competency in your approach and understanding of varying backgrounds and life experiences.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred, to support our diverse student population.
