Job Description:

Box Office Ticket Sellers are responsible for processing ticket sales at the Ticket Office and providing excellent customer service to all areas of Hard Rock Live. Reporting to the Live Managers and the Box Office Supervisor they will ensure that every guest is well informed of general event information (i.e., upcoming events, ticket availability, event selection, and Universal CityWalk general information).

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with internal and external guests at all times.
  • Utilizes Ticketmaster software to process ticket sales.
  • Opens and/or closes ticket window as required.
  • Provides customer service in all aspects of the Ticket Office, including phones.
  • Provides information to patrons regarding performances and ticket policies.
  • Reconcile individual ticket sales, including accepting payment and making change accurately.
  • Balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Cashout Office for auditing purposes.
  • Completes daily ticket sales reports.
  • Handles Will-Call window according to procedure, or other related duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Ensures that all workstations are clean, stocked with the necessary supplies, flyers/information.
  • Performing duties such as cleaning, sweeping, and vacuuming.
  • Effectively communicate escalated guest issues to the Live Manager and/or GM.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship with all departments within the building (e.g. Security, Kitchen, Sales, etc.) to ensure that all needs of our guests and clients are met.
  • Ensure that all equipment is cared for appropriately, properly utilized by staff, and any issues are reported to Management.
  • Maintaining and understanding general venue and company knowledge, including upcoming events, company initiatives and philanthropic initiatives

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One (1) years prior customer service/ticketing experience, preferably in a Ticketmaster venue.
  • Prior cash handling experience preferred.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends and late nights.
