Job description

Park Waterloo is currently searching for outgoing personalities to join our team and help us meet our customer service objectives. Business hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Enforcement Officer will Patrol, monitor, and enforce public parking areas to enhance the experience of the public parking system through customer interaction.

• Practices good public relations with customers and visitors by answering questions and providing information concerning parking services and traffic regulations

• Patrols metered and monthly parking areas; utilizes handheld ticket devices to issue citations for parking violations, including enforcement of towing ordinance and emergency snow route ordinance

• Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with organizational policies, procedures and safety practices

• Attends work regularly at the designated place and time

• Supports continuous process improvement initiatives

• Performs related work as required

• Appears in court as witness against violators (as needed), reports inoperative meters to meter technician personnel, and assists with customer service activities
