Job description

The Project and Procedure Assistant is a detail-oriented and organized individual. They will be responsible for coordinating project activities, ensuring deadlines are met, navigating technological software, and facilitating communication between team members and stakeholders.   

Hours:  M – F, 8am – 4:30pm.  Pay range:  $45,000 - $60,000

  • Assisting in coordination for new implementations between City and PCI contractors.
  • Ability to navigate technological software.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, track progress, and report on project status to stakeholders.
  • Facilitate communication between project team members, management, and clients.
  • Assist with project planning, including defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Identify potential risks and issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Develop operational process and policy documentation that is coordinated with the project team and operational end users. 
  • Ensure project documentation is complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Knowledge or change order management as well as experience in construction related project management, is a plus. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Provide administrative support to the project team as needed.
  • Other tasks assigned by management.
  • Integrity - Must be honest and ethical.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Motivation - Must be independent and motivated to complete tasks.
  • Professional - Must be professional at all times, whether written or verbal.
  • Dependability - Must be ready to work at start time.
  • Communication - Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities.  Must be able to work with a variety of groups.
  • Pass a background check and drug test.
