 Requirement gathering

  • Analyze/Understand the business requirements and provide suggestions to customer
  • Design the report
  • Knowledge of entire architecture (eg: interface to Database, .Net, SharePoint etc) vs. just having knowledge only on report part they worked

Technical

  • Professional experience in all aspects of TIBCO Spotfire development including Information designer and custom Python scripts.
  • Database queries
  • Strong conceptual understanding of relational database systems.
  • Strong ability to understand analytic specifications, translate specifications into TIBCO Spotfire visualizations and /or underlying code.
  • Experience with extracting and combining different data sources, different databases and data warehouses
  • Strong ability to develop meaningful and consistent quality checks throughout the development process.
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
  • Experience in developing User Interfaces.


Specific Technical Skills ranked from most to least important, as follows

  1. C#/.NET Framework Development Experience
  2. Knowledge of PL/SQL, Oracle, and Relational Databases
  3. Python or IronPython Scripting
  4. Tibco Spotfire and Web player skills and experience
