Job description

Summary of Job Duties: Under limited Supervision, perform a wide variety of duties to install, maintain, and improve Facility systems.

Specific Job Duties:

  1. Clearly communicate with the Supervisor regarding the status of projects.

  2. Perform internal and external plumbing repairs.

  3. Perform lighting and electrical repairs, change light bulbs and ballasts as needed.

  4. Perform carpentry work on doors, tables, desks, walls, framing, sheet rock and tiles.

  5. Maintain company grounds; mowing, and weeding as needed.

  6. Investigate and correct the cause of leaks in roof and HVAC ducting.

  7. Do daily, weekly, and monthly checks on A/C units and lighting.

  8. Establish and maintain inventory of spare parts and preventive maintenance service schedule for facility-related equipment.

  9. Handle hazardous materials issues as designated by Safety Manager, assigned by Supervisor.

  10. Safely Operate lift equipment, forklifts, pallet jacks and scissor lift as needed.

  11. Maintain GMP compliant Facility to support safe and effective manufacturing and packaging of nutraceutical products.

  12. Perform all tasks as assigned by Threshold management.

Minimum Qualifications Required:

  1. Three years general facility maintenance experience.

  2. Good DMV print out.

  3. Ability to reach, lift, push and pull up to 75ย lbs.

  4. Be able to climb up and down ladders.

  5. Availability for overtime as required completing jobs etc.

  6. Basic computer skills for reading and responding to email work orders.

Skills and/or Training Desired:

  1. Carpentry & plumbing experience

  2. Light electrical experience

  3. Knowledge of the principles and methods of electrical systems repair

  4. High School graduate

  5. Forklift and/or scissor lift experience

  6. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desiredย
