Machine Operator position is to set up and operate production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. The ability to use computer-controlled equipment to select positions and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines. Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities for Position:

  • Computer Skills
  • Strong mathematical skills, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers and decimals.
  • Ability to navigate and operate applicable machines.
  • Proven history of high-level measuring experience.
  • Accurate input of data into production logs and electronic systems.
  • Familiarity with quality control systems/software for recording and analyzing inspection data.
