Job description

MEGA Professionals is actively seeking experienced Machine Operators and Press Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in East Providence. We are hiring individuals with experience operating production, printing, stamping, bindery, and manufacturing equipment in fast-paced production environments.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with backgrounds in digital printing, metal stamping, bindery operations, or general machine operation.

Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain production equipment including HP and Konica Minolta presses, high-speed manufacturing and stamping presses, bindery equipment, guillotine cutters, laminators, MOLL, Horizon Rotary Die MGI, and ABG equipment
  • Start, monitor, adjust, and troubleshoot machines to maximize production efficiency and minimize downtime
  • Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment
  • Read and interpret work orders, production schedules, blueprints, and specifications
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and dimensional accuracy
  • Measure materials and completed products using gauges, calipers, rulers, micrometers, and other precision tools
  • Accurately report completed production using company systems
  • Organize materials and workflow to meet production schedules and deadlines
  • Perform fabrication functions including cutting, punching, crimping, bending, and related manufacturing processes when required
  • Maintain equipment, replenish workstations, and prepare areas for the next shift
  • Follow company SOPs, safety procedures, LEAN manufacturing principles, and 5S standards
  • Escalate equipment failures and unresolved quality concerns to management
  • Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to achieve production goals
Qualifications
  • Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment, printing presses, bindery equipment, stamping presses, or other production machinery preferred
  • Experience with HP, Konica Minolta, sheet-fed offset, or digital presses is highly desirable
  • Progressive die and metal stamping experience is a plus
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and production specifications
  • Strong math and measurement skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for the duration of the shift except during scheduled breaks
