Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | Day and Swing Shifts Available

Description

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Rewind Finishing Operator to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating rewind and slitting equipment to produce finished label rolls that meet customer specifications and quality standards.


This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, takes pride in producing high-quality work, and is committed to safety, accuracy, and continuous improvement.


Key Responsibilities

  • Set up rewind equipment using job tickets and production specifications
  • Read and interpret job documents, work orders, and customer requirements
  • Gather required materials including cores, boxes, and packaging supplies
  • Operate rewind and slitting equipment to customer specifications
  • Inspect labels throughout production to identify and remove defects
  • Rewind finished product according to specifications
  • Package finished product according to customer specifications
  • Maintain consistent production speeds while meeting quality expectations
  • Perform quality assurance inspections and document required production data
  • Complete required production paperwork and communicate job status to supervisors
  • Follow all production procedures, job notes, and quality control protocols
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on assigned equipment
  • Clean and maintain machines, tools, knives, gears, and work areas
  • Submit maintenance requests when equipment issues arise
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives
  • Follow all company safety policies and maintain a safe work environment
  • Assist with additional production duties as assigned


Qualifications & Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and follow written work instructions and production documents
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
  • Basic math skills including
  • Ability to use calculators and perform production-related measurements
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work efficiently under production deadlines


Preferred Backgrounds

  • Manufacturing or production experience
  • Label converting, printing, or packaging experience
  • Machine operation experience
