Third Space Therapy combines the independence of private practice with the support of a group setting, focused on expanding Medicaid-covered behavioral healthcare.

We're looking for passionate fully licensed Psychiatrists to serve as Collaborating/Supervising Physicians for our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs). This is a flexible, primarily non-clinical role focused on oversight, collaboration, and quality assurance within a fully remote care model serving Medicaid populations.

At Third Space Therapy, we offer:

  • Collaborative Model: Work alongside PMHNPs and therapists in an integrated behavioral health setting
  • Cultural Influence: Help shape the culture and direction of our growing practice and play a meaningful role in our development
  • Remote Practice Model: Enjoy the independence and flexibility of a private practice with the full support of our group environment, all from the comfort of your own home or any remote location
  • Community Focus: Make a meaningful difference in the lives of Medicaid members by improving access to high-quality psychiatric care

What you'll need

  • Active, unrestricted MD or DO license in Arizona
  • Board certification in Psychiatry (ABPN or equivalent)
  • Working knowledge of collaborative practice requirements for PMHNPs
  • Experience treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan
  • Comfort with telehealth models, EHR-based chart review, and remote communication tools

We're looking for providers who bring:

  • Experience supervising or collaborating with PMHNPs
  • Strong clinical judgment across a range of psychiatric presentations and populations
  • A genuine commitment to expanding access to high-quality psychiatric care for Medicaid members
  • A collaborative mindset and appreciation for working within a mission-driven care team
  • The ability to thoughtfully balance regulatory supervision requirements with meaningful clinical partnership

What you'll do

  • Provide required physician collaboration/supervision to assigned PMHNPs
  • Conduct regular chart reviews to ensure clinical quality, appropriate prescribing, and documentation integrity
  • Meet with PMHNPs to discuss complex cases, diagnostic questions, and treatment planning
  • Provide real-time and asynchronous consultation on challenging or escalating patient presentations
  • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols, prescribing guidelines, and quality improvement initiatives

What's in it for you

  • Freedom to shape your schedule
  • Access to a collaborative clinical community with peer support built into our model
  • A meaningful role shaping the clinical culture and standards of a growing practice
