Job description

Position Summary

The Superintendent manages all aspects of job site operations in strict conformance with the contract documents and corporate safety program. Candidate must be driven, detail and customer service oriented. This position is located at Fort Gordon Military Base in Augusta, GA.


Job Specifications

  • Managing and coordinating day-to-day production and schedule adherence on the project
  • Attend NAVFAC Red Zone meetings, partner meetings and quality control meetings
  • Willing to work full-time on-site until the work is completed and accepted
  • Logical and organized approach to completing tasks and solving problems
  • Ability to enforce strict Quality Control requirements
  • Full understanding of all Divisions of work
  • Must have a strong work ethic
  • Ability to forge relationships with client base
  • Ability to discover problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
  • Hold subcontractor coordination meetings
  • Strictly enforce jobsite safety requirements
  • Other duties as assigned.


Knowledge and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years experience in construction with at least 5 of those years as a Superintendent on projects similar in size and complexity
  • Current safety credentials to include OSHA-30 and EM 385-1-1
  • USACE experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Procore software is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge in construction methods, practices, schedules, logistics, and budgets
  • Must be capable of interpreting a critical path schedule and construction drawings
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to take initiative, problem-solve and work in a fast-paced setting
  • Professional demeanor in person, online, and via phone with excellent verbal and written communication skills
